Born an artist without knowing it.

It
took Petra almost 40 years to claim her life as an abstract painter. Having lived in Germany for the most of her life, she did not pursue painting as a career until moving to Vancouver, Canada.

From there her journey led to the Hudson Valley where she now lives and works. Petra maintains studios in both Woodstock and Manhattan. It is the push and pull between the country energy and New York City vibes that keep her creative juices flowing.
